Pricing is fixed per item, never by estimated value, and starts at $3.90. Every price is shown on the brand and category pages. Collaborations may have a small minimum, which is always shown up front.

Do I need to mail my item?

No. Guardvera is entirely photo-based. You upload clear photos following our guided instructions, and our reviewers work from those images. Nothing is shipped.

What photos do I need?

It depends on your item. After you choose a brand and item, we show a guided checklist of exactly which photos to take — front, labels, hardware, stitching, and so on — with a short instruction for each.

When does the review window begin?

Your review window — whichever turnaround you chose — starts only after a complete and usable submission: all required photos and item details. If anything is missing or unclear, we'll ask for the additional photos we need to complete your review.

What happens if my photos are unclear?

If a photo is too blurry or is missing important detail, we'll mark your order as Additional Photos Required and tell you exactly which shots to retake. We'll continue your review once we have the complete photos.

What does Inconclusive mean?

Inconclusive means the submitted evidence isn't sufficient to give a reliable opinion. Photo-based authentication has limits, and we would rather be honest than guess. It is a responsible professional outcome, not a failure.

No. We provide a careful, independent professional opinion based on the photos you submit. We don't claim to be “100% accurate” or “certified,” and results can differ from other services. Honesty about limitations is part of our service.

Are reviews completed by humans?

Yes. Every result in Guardvera is a human-reviewed opinion. In this phase we do not use automated or AI authentication to decide results.

What is the refund policy?
