Guardvera exists to make luxury authentication affordable and simple for ordinary buyers and sellers. Traditional authentication can be slow, expensive, or require shipping a valuable item away. We take a different approach: you upload clear, guided photos, and a human reviewer returns an independent opinion in as little as 1 hour after a complete and usable submission.

The name reflects what we do. Guard is protection — helping you avoid a costly mistake. Vera is truth and authenticity. Together they describe an honest service that protects people shopping and selling in the secondhand market.

How we think about honesty

Photo-based authentication has real limits, and we don’t pretend otherwise. When the evidence is strong, we say so. When it isn’t, we return an Inconclusive result rather than guess — and we usually ask for better photos first. We don’t claim to be “100% accurate,” “certified,” or “guaranteed,” because no honest photo-based service can.
